Pilates Principles - This course introduces the principles of Pilates, basic anatomy, physiology and theory. Develop your skills in postural analysis and stability assessment. This, or equivalent, is the necessary precursor to entering the mat and reformer courses.

Pilates Principles and basic mat level 1 - This course introduces the principles of Pilates, basic anatomy, physiology and theory. Develop your skills in posture analysis and stability assessment. This, or an equivalent, is the necessary precursor to the mat and reformer. The Basic Level 1 will give you a strong foundation in mat work and help build excellent sequencing in exercises.

Pre and post natal Pilates - The pre and post natal Pilates course develops your understanding of how your pre and post natal client can benefit from Pilates. This course details the many changes and issues that can arise during pregnancy and after. Core strength, posture and flexibility will be a focal point. Participants are given an extension range of exercises suitable for your pre and post natal client.

Reformer Level 1 - The Reformer is an essential staple of any Pilates studio and many physiotherapy clinics now also acknowledge the huge benefit these machines can offer clients. This course provides information on the components of a reformer and how to use a reformer safely and effectively. Participants are taughts an extensive array of exercises and how to adapt the exercises to suit your client, wheather beginner or advanced.

 Pilates Mat Level 3 (Advanced) - This course will enrich and advance exercises learnt through the Basic and Intermediate Pilates mat courses. It will provide you with master knowledge of all aspects of mat exercise and an understanding of the classical mat repertoire.

 Mat Exam - This exam is essential in order to become a qualified and REP's recognised mat Pilates instructor. The written component of the mat exam will consist of a 1 hour multi-choice and a 1 hour short answer exam testing your knowledge of anatomy, physiology and theory. The practical component is a 1/2 hour exam testing the candidates understanding of class structure and cueing from basic to advanced.

Mat Level 1 - The basic Pilates mat course is the foundation of all our other Pilates programmes. At Stability Plus Pilates we believe that getting the fundamentals right is essential. We teach how to work safely and effectively with various injuries and pathologies. Course participants also learn verbal and tactile cueing, exercise modification and sequencing.

Foam Roller Workshop - Another exciting piece of instability equipment but with added benefit of incorporating the all important myo-fascial release. Tight bands of tissue restrict range of movement and can prevent muscles firing effectively. Learn how to release tight fascia with the roller.
